Born in Paris in 1985, Augustin Bahu settles in Cannes in 2003. In the same year, he discovers electronic music during the first Electronikaia, a party featuring, among others, Luke Slater, Jack de Marseille and Colin Dale. Two months later, he buys his first turntable and starts searching vinyl rarities at Bassomatik and Limelight records; electronic music becomes a priority.
Augustin musical tastes were mostly influenced by Acid House and Detroit Techno artists such as Mad Mike, Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins and Robert Hood; he fuels an all-consuming passion for old-school soulful music from the Motor City.
